I love this product! I'm from California and it's great to use whether its warm or cold. I use it to transport my son in & out of the car, just remove the velcro and move it out of the way when not in use. It's also great when the baby is sleeping and we're sitting at the restaurants, he doesn't get interrupted.

Best car seat accessory by far. I do not have to worry about a blanket falling back down on him or falling on to the floor and getting dirty; let alone strangers in the stores wanting to see him. Considering that this is flu season keeping him protected from other people who maybe sick is worth every penny and the peace of mind that it brings.

This was a good item to have on those sunny days for my newborn. However, it did not fit my carseat very well (I have a chicco carseat). It has velcro closinging at they would not stay closed. If I could go back, I would get the type of cover that just lays over the carseat instead of one that needs to be closed.
