Instructions in French and German (NOT in English). I struggled to get it apart for battery installation. When I put it back together, I couldn't get the pins to catch. Turns out that if you don't line up the arrows just right the push button gets bent up inside the grinder. I struggled with it for a half hour. unscrewed the push button, pulled it out, straightened it, it's plastic. It was weakened from being bent IT'S PLASTIC. Fortunately I managed to reassemble it. I imagined what would happen if anyone else in the family should try to replace the batteries. I repackaged it and sent it back. Sooooo, my wife didn't get a present on Valentine's day. It would have been so easy to put a groove in it so that it could only be put together in the right position. Instead you can reassemble it any of 360 degrees but you tear it up if it's not exactly right.
I never actually used it but I did think the capacity was too small and would require frequent refill. Only the clear part is reservoir.

This product is fantastic!!! It is worth every penny. I've thrown out/given away all of my other pepper mills. I originally received the Peugeot pepper mill as a gift, and liked it so much that I have given it as a gift several times. This is without a doubt the best pepper mill that I have ever used. It has a light and the you are able to adjust the courseness of the pepper that is being ground. Everyone that uses it always has a positive comment.

After trying several different less expensive electric pepper mills I finally ordered this one. Unlike the cheaper ones it works well and the grind adjustment actually changes the grind. One big problem with the
less expensive mills was that their grind adjustment really didn't change anything. I liked this mill so much that I bought a second one (I use both black and white pepper). If you can afford it this one is a winner.
